What we process
- Search parameters you or ChatGPT send to the app (keywords, author, institution, journal, filters). They are forwarded to the public scholarly databases we query (OpenAlex, Europe PMC, DOAJ, Semantic Scholar) and, only when you request web search, to Tavily.
- An anonymized user identifier provided by ChatGPT, used only to count your monthly web searches (limit: 5). We store only a one-way hash of it together with a number (the count for that calendar month) — nothing else.
What we do not collect
- No name, e-mail, account or payment data.
- No health information. Please do not include personal health details in your requests.
- No advertising or tracking cookies; we do not sell or share data for marketing.
Retention
Search parameters are not stored beyond short-lived technical caches (minutes). Web-search counters are kept per calendar month in private storage and contain only the hashed identifier and a count. To have them deleted, write to us at the address below.
Third parties
Results come from third-party databases under their own terms: OpenAlex, Europe PMC, DOAJ, Semantic Scholar, and Tavily (web search). The app is hosted on Vercel.
